Nicole Aguila Linn, M.Ed, CYT, has been teaching and serving young learners for fourteen years in northern New Jersey in the public, private and parochial sectors. During and upon her completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology, she explored working in restaurants and corporate sales, where she gained great interpersonal skills enhancing her love of building relationships, teamwork and crisis management. Nicole went on to graduate school earning a Master’s degree in Education from Rutgers University. Upon receiving her teaching certification she began teaching in the urban public school setting in a full-inclusion classroom. Nicole gained extensive experience with various learning styles, IEP’s, 504 plans and ELL learners. In this type of setting she worked very closely with the Child Study Team after referring many students that she felt required evaluation and intervention.
Nicole continued in parochial and private schools, as both a classroom teacher and administrator, where she continued to work with mainstream students, as well as with students with various learning disabilities. Nicole’s time in formal educational settings allowed for opportunities to develop her knowledge of LD’s and experience with IEP’s, while carrying out intervention and strategies to aid instruction. She also gained experience in communicating adminstrators’, teachers’ and parents’ concerns effectively in order to reach a mutual understanding in order to effectively instruct the learners
Most recently Nicole has developed a well-being company in her local area, providing services to children and adults alike. Through her coaching and private work, she is able to help her clients find peace and balance in their lives through wellness practices, such as meditation, yoga, breath-work and reiki. Nicole has also developed relationships with her local community and has provided yoga and growth mindset programs to both private and public schools.
Nicole has a passion for getting to know people and creating long lasting relationships that will yield growth and inspiration. She aspires to empower children and adults to increase their self-awareness in an effort to live whole, fulfilling lives through approaches reaching and evolving the mind, body and soul.
